Writer's Block: Spellbound

If you could get your hands on a talent duplicator machine, whose talents would you want, and why?

This is the easiest question I've ever seen on writers block. It would unquestionably be Steve Martin, the most talented man in America. He has done stand-up comedy, he's a grammy-winning banjo player,he's a songwriter, and  he's written several excellent screenplays. He's the author of a number of books.  I know from reading Shopgirl and Born Standing Up that he has a gorgeous prose style. Just being able to write like him (one of his lesser known talents!) would be worth the price of a talent duplicator machine. I also see from his wikipedia page that he is an accomplished juggler.

One of his biggest talents was being able to convince nearly everyone during the late 70's and early 80's that he was just  some moron pandering to frat boys. He had me fooled.

But even that is not his biggest talent. My jaw dropped when I first saw this video of him dancing with Gregory Hines and not looking bad by comparison.

I feel compelled  to point out that I am a slightly better singer than Steve Martin. I know that sounds childish and pathetic, but this video made me a little jealous.
