Ysabella Brave

I have recently become something of a fan of Ysabella Brave. She is a young lady who has become an internet celebrity from posting her singing performances on Youtube. Her latest video is an original song called James, about a brother she appears not to have seen in a while.

I think the video stands on it's own, but it's worth a trip to the youtube page to read the lyrics. They are quite poignant and what drew me in.

I first discovered her when I was looking for videos of the Irving Berlin song "What'll I Do" on youtube. (I'd figured out that you can hear for free the songs you would pay for on ITunes by looking for videos of them on youtube). I found her rendition of it, and although it is truncated, it is still quite lovely. I later found out it was her very first video. I'm embedding it here because it is the video that introduced me to her, and because in spite of the abrupt end, it's still a very moving rendition of one of my favorite songs.

Among her many other videos is a splendid rendition of Moon River. She appears to have disabled the embed code, so I'll just include a link.

Nice Article. Never caught "James" before.

MaryAnne suffers from Fibromyalgia & Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and has been too weak to talk and eat, never mind sing and dance for us. Unemployed, she has humbly requested our prayers and financial gifts on her personal Facebook page: http://facebook.com/ysabellabrave

She freely shared her music, talents, and heart with us. Now let us bless her in return. It's the least we can do to thank her. Here is a link to her PayPal account: http://tinyurl.com/BlessYB
